Agreement
These terms apply to your use of CB Right Click Blocker (the “app”), provided by John De (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Shopify’s own terms for apps. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
The service
The app adds optional protections to your Shopify online store, such as disabling right click, image dragging, text selection, keyboard shortcuts, and printing, and adding a visible watermark to images.
The app is free. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we ever introduce paid features, we will ask for your approval through Shopify billing before you are charged anything.
What the app can and cannot do
The app discourages casual copying. It does not and cannot make your content impossible to copy. Browsers must download content to display it, so screenshots, browser developer tools, disabling JavaScript, or saving the page source remain possible.
The app is not digital rights management (DRM) and is not a substitute for copyright registration, licensing, or legal action. We make no promise that your content will not be copied.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the settings you choose and for checking that your store works as you expect after changing them.
- You are responsible for any text you write in the app, including alert messages, print messages, legal notices, and watermarks. Make sure it is accurate and lawful where you sell.
- Some protections, such as blocking text selection, can make your store harder to use for some shoppers, including people who use assistive technology. You are responsible for meeting the accessibility laws that apply to your store.
- You must not use the app for anything unlawful or in violation of Shopify’s terms.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what information the app handles. In short, we store only your store domain and an access token, and we collect no customer data.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your store and its content. We keep all rights to the app, its code, and its branding. These terms do not transfer ownership of either.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme or third-party app.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app, including any copying of your content. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to zero, or the lowest amount allowed by law.
Ending the service
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; your settings and session data are then removed as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or end the app, or your access to it, if you break these terms or if we discontinue the app. We will try to give reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you inside the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
